Latichia
I agree with most of this...
Though the name Latichia creates the urge to understand and help people, we draw to your attention that it causes an emotional intensity and sensitivity that is hard to control. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the fluid and nervous system.
Your first name of Latichia has given you a friendly, likeable nature, and you could excel in artistic, dramatic, and musical expression. With this name, you desire the finer things in life, but you do not always have the resolve and vitality to put forth the effort necessary to fulfil your desires. Your emotional feelings are easily affected and you will always be involved in other people's problems as a result of your overly sympathetic nature.

Lipstick
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: Children
My daughter (who will be two next week) has developed a sudden infatuation with lipstick. She pretends everything is lipstick and acts like she is putting it on her lips. Last week she got into my purse and got my lipstick. I didn't get on to her too bad because I found it to be a wonderful Kodak moment. I did let her know that she was not to get into mommy's purse again or the end result would be for mommy to spank. She does know what the word spank means. The lipstick I am referring to, by the way is not your every day ordinary lipstick that easily wipes off. It is the 8 hour lipstick that you have to SCRUB off with baby oil. She had it on her clothes, face, hands, and some on the furniture. Last night she was almost asleep, so I told her I was going to go put up dinner and get the kitchen straightened. She was watching television and drinking her milk. When I finished, I peeked in to check on her and she was not on the couch. I went to her room and she wasn't there. I began to get worried. So, I went back in the living room and there she sat in the corner with my purse beside her and lipstick all over her mouth, hands, pajamas, etc. She had got out of the bath only minutes before I began cleaning the kitchen!! I calmly sat down beside her thinking...should I take more pictures?! I didn't smile. I kept the stern "mommy's mad face". I asked her if she was supposed to be in mommy's purse? She said NO. I said what did mommy say she was going to do next time you got into her purse? She said spank. So, I took the now empty tube of lipstick and laid it aside, stood her up and spanked her. Her heart crumbled. We went to the bathroom and began the long process of removing the 'stay on' lipstick. She was mad and so was I. More mad at myself for leaving my purse where she could reach it and now I was going to have to replace this $10 tube of lipstick that she had ruined...being a parent is tough.

This is really nuts. I got it from Becca's blog. Thought I would post it on mine. (Hope ya don't mind Bec)

Dear Friend,
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced plans to launch an outrageous new study in which participating low income families will have their children exposed to toxic pesticides over the course of two years. For taking part in these studies, each family will receive $970, a free video camera, a T-shirt, and a framed certificate of appreciation. The study entitled CHEERS (Children?s Environmental Exposure Research Study) will look at how chemicals can be ingested, inhaled or absorbed by children ranging from babies to 3 years old.

Please take a moment to join tens of thousands of citizens in petitioning the EPA to terminate this study prior to its proposed launch in early 2005.

More information and petition here:

Usher & Alicia Keys
Mood:  not sure
So, did anybody notice the eye gazing between Alicia Keys & Usher after they sang their song "My Boo" last nigt on the American Music Awards? I did!! They looked into one another's eyes and then there was a hint of a kiss there at the end. Maybe they were just acting, but they acted pretty giddy to me. That would be an awesome couple. Can you imagine the future ahead of any children that they would have!! Wow!

Santa?!
Mood:  quizzical
Topic: Christmas
Today was a fun day. We took the kids out shopping. Funny to think that we took the girls with us while we were shopping for their birthday presents. We went to the mall. Much to our surprise Santa was there. Yep, THE santa from the North Pole was right there before our eyes. We were unsure of how they would do, so we took them down there. They know that when your child sits on santa's lap you are going to want a picture. Nope, you can't take your own, besides who takes their camera with them shopping at the mall besides papparazzi!?! So, anyhow it was almost a $20 to get two 5x7s and that, my friend was the cheapest package. So, Shelby sat there and I mentioned to Santa her love for Dora The Explorer. He began to talk of Dora and she warmed up to him. Still when his little helper snapped the picture, she wasn't too sure of him and she wasn't looking at the camera or smiling. But, I got the picture anyhow. The point of this whole spill is that is it really time for Santa to be at the mall? Is it really time for the bell ringers to be out asking for your donations? Is it Christmas time already!? Man, I just can't believe it. Another year has come and almost gone. What about those new year's resolutions!? I don't even want to talk about mine.

Mood:  lazy
The reason's I LOVE Fridays:
1)Tomorrow I get to sleep in. That is if Shelby
wants to sleep in also!
2)Friday's are laid back. People are usually in a
pretty good mood in general.
3)NO work for 2 days.
4)I get to spend time with my family.

So, are you glad it's Friday? The weather man said we won't see sunshine for a while. The clouds would rather see it. So, that's okay with me. I love to sit around under the quilt my grandma made for me. Makes me feel like she's hugging me. I know she would be if she were still here.

Patriotic
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: God Bless The USA
The Star Spangled Banner: Man, that gives me the chills to hear it. The 39th infantry are home!! :) Cool to hear all of the emotion on the radio of people waiting to find their loved ones. So emotional for me, and I don't have a loved one serving right now.

I am listening to the local country music station and some of our troops are coming home today! :) In fact they will be coming in a block away from here. They're coming in on 4 buses. I'll bet their families are going to be so happy to see 'em. God Bless our troops. I can't imagine what those families have been through. Some kids have been talking about how excited they are to see their dads. How sweet.
